By reading chapter 5 i realized just how much technology is used in classrooms today. Before reading chapter 5 i thought that technology was just a every-now-and-then type of thing. But i learned that technology is used every day, in many different ways. While reading chapter 5 i kept thinking about the administrative software Judy showed us in class on thursday. Teachers can use a variety of software:Administrative software, Academic software, Productivity software, classroom management software, Freeware, shareware, word-processing software, database management software, and many others. Teachers also use electronic spreadsheets.
Software that is available and used in classroom settings helps the class stay organized. Technology is used everyday in education and it helps the class run smoothly and stay together. Some technology can help students with learning disablities.

I really liked the software that she showed us as well. I had no idea what kind of things were now available for not only teachers, but for the students and the parents as well.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the both of you that I like the software we were showed in class. As far as the chapter goes it is important to realize that technology is used everyday in the classroom even though, it may not be used to teach the students it will be used for attendence, communication with parents and colleagues, and grades.
ReplyDeleteTechnology definitely helps teachers out when it comes to staying organized. I feel like sooner or later, everything done in the classroom will be highly or even completely dependent upon technology.
