Chapter 7 was titled The Internet and The World Web. One thing I learned while reading this Chapter is that there is a difference between the internet and the world web. The web is actually the most popular. The internet provides several tools and services. Email is a major type of communication available on the internet. I really like how emails can be between students, student-teachers, or teacher-parents. Technology is advanced in such a way that it has programs where you can chat with another person and actually see them also.
As a teacher it will be important for me to teach my students about technology and all of the different types of advancments it provides. I will want them to be aware of whats available for them technology wise that will help them to learn, and become excited aboout it as well.

Email could be a big help in contacting people instead of calling every single parent and/or student. Technology is expanding everyday and I believe it is necessary for students and you to be up-to-date in new technology.
ReplyDeleteWhat I'm concerned about with the internet in a classroom is that the studnets are going to be able to do more with it than I will. Since technology is always advancing I'm afraid I won't be able to keep up.
