Chapter 4
I read Chapter 4 this week titled Digital Technologies in the Classroom. This Chapter discusses several different types of Digital Technologies. Some of these included: electronic whiteboards, wireless devices, and scanners. All of these contribute to making the classroom easier for you as a teacher, and for your students. Another thing I read about was the e-books. These are digital books which are really nice to have. They are an interactive way for students to read rather than just having some boring text book to read.

All of the technologies mentioned in Chapter 4 do help teachers in the classroom. I think that E-books were very interesting and I wish that my school had these since they help students take notes and help them study as well.
ReplyDeleteI think these things do make a classroom easier. As a teacher I have to know how to use many of these devices. I think the new technology can keep kids focused more because it is less boring.
ReplyDeleteI really like how you talk about the E-Books. A lot of us probably didn't know what an e-book was until we read this chapter. [I know i didn't] It's pretty cool to see the growth in technology since we [no matter what age] were in elementary school. I know since my elementary years technology has grown rapidly.
ReplyDeleteI read about e-books last time and I was mildly scared by them. Growing up we had books on tape and you could follow along but e-books have taken things to a whole new level. As new generations start using them I think it would acutally be a lot easier for them.
