Chapter 8
Chapter 8 was titled Using the Web for Teaching and Learning. Current and future teachers need to use the web in their classrooms but they need to make sure the web is being used appropriately and wisely. There are many resources available to use and they are very beneficial to everyone. Using a website in your classroom can and will enhance communication between teachers and students. Even parents can use the classroom website to keep up with their child’s education. Teachers can post up classroom rules, schedules, and homework. A tool to help teachers make their webpage is web authoring tools. If teachers have their own classroom website, they need to make sure their children have privacy. Chapter 8 was an important chapter to read since we will be making classroom websites later on.

Chapter 8 seems like it will be very helpful to all of us in the future. I never saw how some chapters would help but chapter 8 is very helpful to people in this class. :] I really like some of the points you brought up. :D
ReplyDeleteI feel this very important because I don't know how many times I would be in a classroom working, as the majority of students, and then I would be forced to stop because a group in the back would be playing one of the stupid internet games. I'm not saying that I never get on Facebook when I shouldn't, but using the internet in a classroom does have more benefits that not.
