Chapter 5
When I finished reading Chapter 5 I realized teachers need a lot of knowledge in technology these days. Teachers use technology every day and they need to be able to select the correct software for different situations. This chapter deals with administrative software and this software can make my teaching career easier in my classroom and even at home. Some software that teachers use are word processing, spreadsheets and even databases. Technology can be used in every subject to assist teachers and to help them to stay organized. Administrative software allows teachers and students to see their improvement throughout the year. Portfolio software makes this easier and parents can even stay on top of their student’s growth. After reading this chapter I’m aware that teachers need to use technology in their classrooms on a daily basis.

I like how you stated that technology can be used in every subject. I never would have considered that before looking at all that is available for teachers.

ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with you on how teachers will be using technology in their classrooms on a daily basis. Just think of how many times a day we use the internet. I probably check my email three times a day. Technology is something that is very important in our lives.
